Established under the InnoHK initiative, the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Center (HKGAI) is dedicated to advancing generative AI technologies. Led by HKUST in collaboration with top universities, HKGAI focuses on developing multilingual foundation models and AI applications tailored to societal needs. In 2025, it launched HKGAI V1, Hong Kong's first locally developed large language model.

BAP is honored to contribute to this milestone by providing a LED wall system, our team designed and installed a 9105mm (width) x 2362.5mm (height) curved LED wall with a 1.25mm pixel pitch, supporting ultra 4K resolution. As seen in the HKGAI press conference on 25th Feb, this high-resolution display offers a 207° degree of immersive experience, enhancing research presentations and collaborative projects.

To meet the client's requirements for quality and stability, BAP delivered an end-to-end solution. This encompassed design plan, installation, and maintenance strategy to ensure long-term performance. To support large screen area and stable high-resolution output, a custom server is needed with AI graphics and video enhancement capabilities, ensuring seamless and efficient operation.

Throughout the project, BAP maintained close collaboration with HKGAI, offering tailored design solutions to meet their specific requirements. Our holistic approach ensured the successful integration of the LED wall system, including the display, server, and audio components, thereby creating an engaging environment that fosters innovation and collaboration within the AI research community.
