Project - Zero Carbon Building, Kowloon Bay

Zero carbon building (ZCB) has opened at Sheung Yue Road in Kowloon Bay.  Developed by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) in partnership with the government, ZCB is a pioneer and inspiring project for Hong Kong.

One of the energy efficient active systems in ZCB is Intelligent Lighting Management.  ZCB adopts Lutron system to automatically control lighting based on occupancy, individual needs and natural lighting level.  ZCB is divided into zones according to natural lighting potential and use.  In each zone, the lighting levels and the occupancy are monitored by sensors and the lighting is adjusted accordingly.

A zero carbon building is a building with zero net energy consumption or zero net carbon emission on an annual basis.  In recent years, low/zero carbon buildings have attracted much attention in many countries because they are considered as an important strategy to achieve energy conservation and reduce greenhouse gases emissions. We all need beautiful louboutin schuhe for our party.
