Christian Dior is one of the world’s top fashion houses which provides good quality of products as well as customer services.  To maintain significant market share in Hong Kong, a well equipped training centre is an inevitable tool to increase self competitiveness.

Past projects with Christian Dior in Guangzhou and Nanjing, China, provided fruitful experience and understanding of system functional needs and requirements from user.  The new training centre locates at eastern end of the TaiKoo Place complex and the primary design concepts of this project are energy-saving and ease of operation.

Color Touch Panel Control

Extron TLP 710TV, a high-end color touchpanel control, was introduced to simplify operations for all equipment.  It’s designed to control LCD projector, motorized projection screen, video playback, sound system and the lighting control.  The touchpanel control allows full-motion video display for preview and monitoring using Extron twisted pair technology.  Its built-in speaker provides audio for the full-motion video preview and audible feedback from button presses.  This touchpanel fulfills user’s technical, operational and budgetary needs, it is truly a contemporary design that complements the aesthetics of any environment.

Light Dimming Control

Lutron Grafik Eye QS preset lighting control system is in use to control lights in the training room to give different scene modes with the touch of a button.  The system is able to recall different scene settings, such as presentation, meeting and training mode etc.  Furthermore, the dimming feature of the system allows significant energy saving by consuming less electricity yet produces comfortable light level.

Sound System

The sound system includes Extron DMP64 digital matrix processor, MVC 121 Plus stereo mixer, XPA 2001 power amplifier and SI 26CT two-way ceiling speakers.

Display System

A 40” Samsung full HD display is installed at the lounge area to continuously playback the most updated fashion and/or company story of Christian Dior.

Closed-circuit television system (CCTV)

CCTV was installed in the role playing section, the JVC indoor dome colour camera has 27x optical zoom for high- definition quality video.  One of its special features:  day and night recording function works well with the energy-saving light dimming control by Lutron, the camera records high-clearance video in the dark even the Lutron light saving mode turns on after office business hour.
